Carrie Tindol Heidrich is the Triathlon coach for Team Cadence. Carrie ("CAT") began her athletic career as an age group swimmer in Madison, AL, under her mom's careful tutelage. After a succesful prep career at Bob Jones HS, in Madison, AL, that included multiple All-State honors in Track and Cross Country, Carrie continued her athletic career at Auburn University, where she was a member of the Track and Cross Country teams. While in undergrad, Carrie discovered her true athletic passion, Triathlon. Since beginning her triathlon journey, Carrie has excelled at all levels and distance. Here are some of her accolades:
4x Ironman All World Athlete
2x IM World Championships Qualifier (Kona)
4x 70.3 World Championships Qualifier
2nd in her AG at 2014 IM Chattanooga in 10:08, securing another Kona slot
1st AG at 2016 IM 70.3 Raleigh in 4:55 qualifying for the World Championships (Mooloolaba).
Following the same niche we have on our run coaching side, Carrie is also an outpatient orthopedic/sports med physical therapist in town and specializes in injuries sustained by endurance athletes.
